Jacob Zavala
Mr. Zavala is a middle school band director entering his fourth year of teaching. A saxophone specialist, he brings passion and precision to his music instruction. Under his direction, his bands have earned numerous sweepstakes awards at competitions and continue to make remarkable strides in their music development. Mr. Zavala is committed to inspiring young musicians and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Jazz Band
Mr. Zavala is also in charge of the Jazz Band at the high school. This is a vibrant and creative ensemble where students explore the rich traditions and modern expressions of jazz. Open to all skill levels, the club focuses on improvisation, ensemble playing, and jazz theory in a supportive and inspiring environment. Under Mr. Zavala’s direction, members perform at school events, community functions, and festivals, showcasing their growth and passion for jazz music.
