Laura Calleros

¡Hola, a todos! Hi, everyone! My name is Laura Calleros, and I am a passionate Spanish teacher with 12 years of experience. For the past three years, I have been part of Fabens ISD, where I teach Spanish I and II at Fabens Middle School. These courses count as high school credits, and I take great pride in preparing my students for future success.
I truly love my subject and strive to create a respectful, engaging classroom environment where students feel excited to learn every day. My goal is for them to not only gain language skills but also develop an appreciation for Hispanic Culture. I believe that teaching is a powerful profession with the ability to shape and inspire youth.
In addition to my teaching role, I am proud to be part of the new Dual Language Program, which emphasizes the importance of being bilingual in today’s world. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy listening to music, traveling to experience different cultures, and exploring nature.
