Maria Apodaca

Ms. Apodaca is a dedicated and skilled math teacher with 19 years of experience that has been part of the FMS wildcat family since 2006.  For 18 years she has specialized in 8^th grade math and this will be her second year teaching algebra.  Outside the classroom, Ms. Apodaca is actively involved in student activities.  She coaches the 8th grade girls soccer team, encouraging teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.  She also leads the UIL Oral Reading Spanish team, helping students build confidence and expressiveness through performance.  Ms. Apodaca is ready and looking forward to this new 2025-2026 school year!
